Finally, after job hunting for almost 3 months I will have a job this coming school year. Well, let's reminisce my job hunting. After a week of resting from my jet log (remember I just came back from hongkong) I immediately did some resume. At first I tried my luck at call centers, I applied at e-telecare at Alabang but unfortunately I'm not lucky enough at the exam LOL! After that, I got busy preparing my big day! Then after that again I searched again for a job. Well, I think I went to more than 5 different schools. Some of them just get my resume and some scheduled me for an interview and demonstration teaching. Well, I am kinda impatient of waiting their call if their going to hire me and I admits that's my nature. I hate waiting!? So, another job calling knocked at me. My sister in Christ ( I love to mentioned her name in my blog) Roselyn Patiga, texted me and she said her colleague is just going to open a Pre-school and she recommend me to her. And because I really love little children I don't have any second thought and I said yes! A big Y E S!!!! So, early in the morning I got dressed and ready for an interview. But OMG, I forgot my mobile phone which that's very important because I stored their the address of the school. All I remembered is just the block and the name of the school. Well, I know God is with me so I still go on... OMG again, it seems that I'm looking for nowhere... I blamed myself for forgetting my cp. But I really had this instinct that no matter what I will find the school (plus factor that I don't want to waste my money of going there) Then as I walked further I found a tricycle terminal and asked the driver if he knows the school and VOILA! he was my angel in disguise. He knew it and brought me to the school, what a big relieved haaaaaaaa....... As I entered the gate, Teacher Nora (she is my principal) approached me and we talked about my duties and responsibilities. Take note, NO interview and NO demonstration. As we talked, I really thanked God for giving me this job. Teacher Nora, has a great plan for me and for the school. I will not mention it here, because I just want to make it happen. I know this is my BIG break!! After 2 years of not teaching, I can say that I improved better. I don't want to go back my old days as a teacher. This is the new me and Saint Thomas Integrated School will be my new home.
